Connection With Nature

Felin Y Gors is our activities centre – with a difference!

The therapeutic benefits of spending time in nature has always been one of our core understandings and it is reassuring to see that this is being increasingly widely recognised across many areas of health improvement.

Set within ancient stone walls forming part of the outer perimeter of the historic Bodelwyddan Castle near St Asaph, Felin Y Gors provides a unique and private natural setting of 4 lakes and 30 acres of natural woodland. Home to a resident swan and deer population, in addition to the extensive migrant wildlife visitors, patients are encouraged and able to experience nature at its best throughout the year in a supported and supervised setting.

Whether it is through the multitude of individually tailored activities available or merely through mindfulness inspired walks through the wooded glens or sitting on the banks of the lakes, spending time there seems to always have a positive and uplifting effect on everyone involved.

Felin Y Gors is available for everyone at Coed Du Hall or any of our community locations.
