Coed Du Hall is a twenty two bed mental health open rehabilitation hospital set within over 100 acres of natural parkland and historic woods. The hospital has been registered with Health Inspectorate Wales for over twenty years.
Domestic in scale and nature, Coed Du Hall is at the centre of an active rehabilitation and recovery pathway which uses a holistic approach to deliver interventions utilising nature and the environment to support the healing and recovery process. Key to this approach is our dedicated activities centre, Felin Y Gors, located close by.
Our chef is a past National Award Winner as Champion for Hospitals at the Soil Association with the hospital receiving a Gold Award in recognition of our commitment to quality and nutrition.
Our experienced and motivated multidisciplinary team, members of which have been with the organisation for over twenty years, oversees the delivery of care through established seamless therapeutic pathways that facilitate effective and timely discharge to community placements, minimising the length of any hospital stay.
All team members are fully accredited with their respective professional bodies and choose to work at Coed Du Hall because of their belief in the underlying ethos and philosophy that governs our work.
We ensure that whilst care needs are being met through evidence based and proven best practice interventions, the person is fully involved in a true person centred service with meaningful activities and individualised programs.
It is through this process that the individual has the potential to develop and progress giving the best possible chance of sustained recovery and rehabilitation.
